Pascale Naessens wins international prize

TV presenter Pascale Naessens (43) was in the prizes in Paris with her third book, Pure Enjoyment - yet still stay healthy and slim (Lannoo). At the Gourmand Awards, where cookbooks from around the world are judged by an international jury, she carried off the top prize in her category. The book, which has been a bestseller in Flanders for months, immediately attracted the interest of a number of foreign publishers. Apart from Mrs. Jambers, there were two other Flemish winners in Paris. Tony Leduc's Minestrone Publishers was chosen as the best publishing house and Patisserie with fruit (Lannoo) by Kris Goedgebeur and Marc Declercq won in the category 'Professionals and Pastry Sweets'.
