Pascale Naessens wins gold in China
Pascale Naessens was among the prize winners at the Beijing Cookbook Fair with her series of cookbooks. The cookbook fair in Beijing works in collaboration with the Gourmand Awards, a French organization that recognizes and rewards the best cookbooks on the international market.
In her category - 'best cookbook series in the world' - she was up against Alain Ducasse, the famous star-rated chef from Monaco, and a Chinese series. Pascale was pleasantly surprised when her four books (My Pure Kitchen 1 & 2 and Pure Enjoyment 1 & 2) were awarded the gold medal.
Last year she also won a Gourmand Award in Paris for her third book, Pure Enjoyment - yet still stay healthy and slim.
Pascale Naessens is currently working on her fifth cookbook - Pure Food - which will be published on 11 September.
