Today, our food is an industrial product and no longer comes from nature. Most industrial foods contain hidden sugars and synthetic sweeteners, chemical agents such as artificial colorants, preservatives, manipulated fats and trans fats, as well as modified (fast) carbohydrates. Much of the natural nutritional value becomes lost in this intensive processing.
It’s self-evident that natural foods are much better for our health. They are packed with nutrients that our body recognizes and utilizes to optimum effect. The food industry can do its best to compensate for the loss of nutritional value that occurs during industrial processing, but a natural, health-giving product offers much more than any man-made variant.
So, let’s give nature and ourselves a little more respect and let’s especially try to remember that we’re all part of nature. We have substituted our natural foods for highly processed products and it’s urgent that they be re-substituted for natural foods.
