Divine Apple Tart
Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C). Core and dice one apple, leaving the skin on. Sauté the diced apple with a small glass of water to make applesauce. Melt the butter and combine it with the nut flour, sugar and egg. Mash the sautéed apple with a fork and mix it into the dough. Line a baking dish with baking parchment and pour the dough into the dish, forming the tart shell. Slice the second apple and arrange the slices so they overlap slightly on the tart shell. Sprinkle some sugar over the tart and drizzle another 2 to 3 tablespoons melted butter over the top. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
TIP: NUT FLOUR
There are various types of nut flours available on the market today. I particularly like hazelnut flour. Nut flour is actually not a flour or a powder, they’re simply ground nuts. You can easily make your own using your favorite types of nuts.
- 2 apples
- 2½ oz. (70 g) nut flour (see tip)

- 1½ tbsp (20 g) sugar + a little extra
